NDA-Nigerian Defence Academy is a Military Government institution where highly trained professional Soldiers are made, no wonder Nigeria has the best of Soldiers across the Continent of Africa. The Academy which is situated in Kaduna was put in place by the Federal Act in 1964 in a bid to for the country to train professional Military operatives that can capably uphold the state's Soverign security and curb different level of Insurgencies which may want to rise against the Nation.

The Objectives of the Institution boils down to raising efficient and well refined cadet Officers that are capable to deliver as Nigeria Soldiers in Nigerian Airforce and Nigerian Navy in a 5 year Regular combatants course with up to 1550 students joining the Academy each session. Many people have the impresssion that Nigeria Defence Academy is only meant for those aspiring to  join the NAtion's military, but the fact is the academy also train civilians for Bachelor's degree to Masters degree and Doctorate degreee level.

Requirements to Apply For Nigerian Defense Academy

Of course every Institutions has requirements put in place as standards for their Admission, so also NDA has its too. In the next few lines below we will break down the requirements for your understanding.

How to Apply For NDA

## Applicants with a minimum of 5 credit passes at O'Level Certificate like WASCCE and others obtained in not more than 2 sittings relevant to the faculty of their choices. here to see the comprehensive list

## A supporting relevant credit pass to in the Facaulty of choice. For more about this click here.
A credit in English and Mathematics is compulsory for Parental/Guardian consent or attestation form

## Applicants must be at least 17 years of Age and below 21 at the time of application, but in case of those applying to Nigerian Airforce must be 17 and 18 years of age at the time of application.

## All aplicants need to have written University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME/JAMB)

## All male applicants must be less than 1.68metres tall

## All female applicants must be less than 1.50metres tall

## All applicants must portray good moral behaviour

## All aplicants must not have any criminal record

## Aplicants must be in a good state of health proved medically.

## Applicants must be single and not obligated to a wife or child

All applicants must provide Certificate of Local Government Area of origin,  State Indigenous certificates obtained from the State Governments

## Awaiting results are not allowed, you must have your certificates at hand to apply to the institution.

## Results must not be older than 5 years  or else will be rejected

How to submit your Applications Online

1. Visit the school registration Home Portal best from a PC don't use your phone

2. Follow the process carefully to open your account, and keep all your login details intact for future use

3.  Create your data page by supplying your details properly and watch out for errors. Once your recieve success message, you should now be able to login to your application portal.

4.  Fill out all the Application deatila in the form supplied about 6 sections: Personal data, schools attended, qualifications obtained, choice of service, faculty and department, and lastly upload your scanned photograph

5. Scan and upload all documents required

6.  Print your copy of the form for future use, very important.

7.  Exam Center: once you meet the UTME cut off mark you will be sent a welcome message asking you to go back to the portal and chose examination location

8. Visit the portal with same login details you got earlier, Print out your examination slip and prepare ahead of the exam.

 So that is all the step required, however, be sure that you supply on genuine documents and meet the UTME cut off requirment.
