Let me make it crystal clear that ZIP codes are peculiar alone to the United States, Nigeria and other countries of the world uses Postal codes and not ZIP codes.

Nigeria Postal codes are 00176, 23401, 110001. Any of the above codes should work for filling online forms and applications, some websites usually reject the 5 digit postal code in such cases you can use the 6 digit postal codes.

However, the United States Parcel delivery service USPS uses 00176-0000 to handle international deliveries from the US to Nigeria and they see it as equivalent to Nigeria ZIP code as it is popularly known across the US.

Needful i say that, it will be out-rightly wrong to enter as Nigeria's Postal code, 234 is the international dialing code for Nigeria and not ZIP?postal code.
